Bartender (Midland)

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties - Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. - Engage with guests in a friendly, qualified manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales of drinks and related products. - Manage POS systems for accurate order entry, billing, and cash handling. - Monitor guest consumption levels responsibly, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies. - Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems; perform basic math calculations for change and totals. - Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to ensure smooth service flow. - Uphold food handling standards and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times. - Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed. - Create an inviting atmosphere that encourages guest interaction while managing time effectively during busy shifts. Experience - Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls. - Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable. - Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently through excellent time management skills. - Experience in retail math, cash handling, and basic math calculations for accurate transactions. - Previous roles involving food service, catering, or hospitality settings are preferred. - Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage crafting can be an added advantage for creating specialty drinks. - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse guests confidently.
