Post Construction Technician (Waterloo)

What We Offer: - A company vehicle and tools for job use - Health benefits package - Premium compensation for after-hours calls - Training and support to help you succeed Role Overview: As a Post-Construction Technician, you'll complete a wide range of maintenance tasks across multiple sites in the Tri-Cities area. You’ll also be integrated into our rotating on-call schedule for after-hours support once trained. Key Responsibilities: - Complete assigned jobs on schedule and to a high standard - Communicate professionally with clients & other staff - Use our mobile field service app and email to manage tasks and updates - Safely handle keys and FOBs to access properties - Identify and report issues that require escalation to a specialized trade - Follow all safety protocols, including PPE use where necessary - Basic troubleshooting of maintenance issues, including leaks, heating/cooling, and appliance malfunctions - Drive the company vehicle responsibly to and from job sites Required Qualifications: - Experience in construction or post-construction - Experience with drywall, taping & mudding - Clean driver’s abstract - Ability to work independently and in a small team - Qualified demeanor - Comfortable using smartphones and apps for work documentation Valuable Experience & Skills: - Drywall repair & installation - Framing and general construction experience - Concrete work an asset (parging, anchoring railings, repair steps, etc.) - Carpentry - Painting and caulking - Deck and fence repairs (post replacement) - Installing and adjusting doors, locks, door closers, etc. - Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge - HVAC troubleshooting (basic knowledge) - Flooring installations (e.g., click flooring) an asset - Appliance troubleshooting an asset - Ability to lift up to 60 lbs - Organizational skills Work Schedule: - Regular Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:00 PM - After-Hours Shifts: One or two days per week once fully onboarded.
