Nanny (Waterloo)

Were a warm, busy family in the Westmount area of Waterloo looking for a part-time nanny/family helper to join our family starting this fall. We have two daughters (ages 1.5 and 4.5) and a 5 year old golden retriever named Wilbur. Hours would be Monday Friday from 125pm. The first part of the day (roughly 123pm) would focus primarily on household and family support things like cooking/meal prep, cleaning and tidying, organizing, errands, gardening, and helping keep our home running smoothly. At 3:30pm, youd pick up our preschooler from JK (walkable from our home) and spend the afternoon with her ideally lots of outdoor play, walks, park time, and fun activities. Around 4:45pm, youd also pick up our infant (also nearby/walkable) and bring both kids home. A few important things: - Must be able to drive - Strong cooking/meal prep skills are significant, as daily family meal prep will be a meaningful part of the role - Must be comfortable with dogs - Looking for someone warm, proactive, dependable, and excited to become a meaningful part of our familys day-to-day life Fit is really important to us were hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys being around kids, takes pride in creating a calm/helpful home environment, and is looking for a long-term fit with a family.
