One full time permanent Psychologist position available starting on May 04, 2026, working 37.5 hours per week. Your Role: - Primary focus is on completion of comprehensive psychological assessments, with flexible portfolio also potentially including provision of therapy and consultation. - Opportunity to work with highly knowledgeable and collegial psychology team. - Ability to work from trauma-informed lens, and commitment to equity and respect for diversity are required. - Provides a variety of services to children, adolescents, caregivers, and community agencies, such as assessment, consultation, and individual therapy. - May participate in research and program development. - May provide consultation to interdisciplinary live-in and day treatment programs. - May provide supervision to psychology trainees. - Works in alignment with the Agency’s commitment to equity to further create a sense of belonging at the Agency. - The above tasks are representative but not all inclusive. Your Talents and Experience: - A Doctoral degree in psychology and registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Psychologists and Behavioral Analysts of Ontario. The preferred candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience working with children and adolescents who are involved with multiple service providers. Supervision from a registered Psychologist will be available for selected candidate/s if they are in the process of becoming registered with CPBAO. - Experience and registration or eligibility for registration to work with adults as well is an asset but not required. - The ability to work within an agency with an interdisciplinary approach. - Encouraged to maintain membership within their professional association. - The posting will remain open until the position is filled.
