Position Overview

Were seeking a motivated Cold Calling Specialist to join our growing team. This is a remote opportunity for someone who thrives on conversation, enjoys building relationships, and wants to connect valuable solutions with organizations making a difference. Youll be the first voice prospects hear from Cantatus, playing a crucial role in expanding our reach within the Canadian NGO sector.


Primary Responsibilities

  • High-volume outbound calling: Connect with 100+ Canadian NGO decision-makers daily from provided prospect lists
  • Lead qualification: Identify organizations that would benefit from ERP consulting services
  • Event promotion: Generate interest and secure registrations for events, webinars, and consultations
  • Relationship building: Create positive first impressions and build rapport with NGO leaders and operations managers
  • CRM management: Accurately log all call activities, outcomes, and prospect information in Keap
  • Pipeline development: Move qualified prospects through the early stages of our sales funnel


What Success Looks Like

First 30 Days:

  • Complete onboarding and master our calling scripts and messaging
  • Become proficient with our dialer software and Keap CRM system
  • Understand the NGO landscape and common operational challenges
  • Begin making confident, consistent daily calls

60 Days:

  • Consistently achieve daily call volume targets (100+ calls)
  • Generate qualified leads and event registrations
  • Demonstrate strong call-to-conversation conversion rates
  • Refine your approach based on coaching feedback

90 Days:

  • Function independently with minimal supervision
  • Meet or exceed monthly appointment and qualification targets
  • Contribute insights about prospect objections and market feedback
  • Become a reliable pipeline generator for the sales team


Ideal Candidate Profile

Required:

  • Proven sales experience (B2B preferred, but we value attitude and coachability)
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a professional, friendly demeanour
  • Resilience and positive attitude in the face of rejection
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with technology and learning new software platforms
  • Reliable home office setup with a strong internet connection
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Formal business education and a business degree are preferred

Bonus Points:

  • Familiarity with the non-profit or NGO sector
  • Previous experience with power dialers or sales automation tools
  • Understanding of ERP systems or business software

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $45,000 to 55,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
  • Performance-based incentives and bonuses with On Target Earnings (OTE) of $60,000 to $75,000 (based on target goal achievement)
