We are seeking a Senior Full‑Stack Software Engineer to join our team to design, build, and support scalable, accessible, and secure software solutions. In this role, you will contribute across the full technology stack—from front‑end user experiences to back‑end services and cloud infrastructure—while providing technical leadership and mentorship within the engineering team. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering partners to deliver high‑quality solutions that meet both user and business needs. Position Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy end‑to‑end features across front‑end, back‑end, APIs, and infrastructure Collaborate with cross‑functional partners (product, design, engineering) to define requirements and deliver solutions Contribute to architectural and technical design decisions with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and reliability Write clean, maintainable, well‑tested code following established engineering best practices Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, or similar tools Troubleshoot and resolve complex, cross‑stack issues by identifying root causes and implementing sustainable fixes Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared engineering standards and documentation Support and mentor other engineers through knowledge‑sharing and constructive feedback Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to the product ecosystem Required Qualifications 8+ years experience full stack software development Professional experience as a full‑stack or software engineer delivering production systems Experience building front‑end applications using modern frameworks such as React Back‑end development experience with Node.js, Express, or similar technologies Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with domain‑driven models Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL, MongoDB) Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, such as Azure Experience using container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern Dev Ops practices Understanding of performance, accessibility, and responsive design principles Experience providing technical guidance, mentorship, or leadership within a team Preferred Qualifications Experience designing or supporting distributed systems Strong problem‑solving and systems‑thinking skills Clear, collaborative communication style Interest in continuous learning and improving engineering practices Experience working in cross‑functional or agile teams When you join our team We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want. Compensation & Benefits Referenced Salary Location: Waterloo, Ontario Working Arrangement: Hybrid Salary range is expected to be between $113,000.00 CAD - $163,000.00 CAD Employees also have the chance to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job‑related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
