Just as 3D printing acts as an additive manufacturing technology to build up unique parts and products, CNC routers act as a subtractive manufacturing technology to remove material from a blank to create a finished part or product. We sell to over 70 countries, under our flagship AltMil and LongMill brands. Position summary: We’re seeking a creative, technically skilled Video Editor & Design Specialist to contribute to the editing, creation and execution of visual content across digital and print platforms. The ideal candidate must be flexible and nimble to work creatively on a diverse scope of assigned projects, to support the objectives of the marketing, engineering, customer support, manufacturing and software departments. Strong video editing skills are required and candidates with junior to intermediate experience will be given consideration. What you’ll do: The specialist plays an important role in shaping the visual storytelling of the Sienci brand, working closely with video and advertising teams. You will not only be helping but shaping compelling, on-brand content that increases engagement; demonstrates engineering ingenuity; drives revenue and elevates our digital presence. Tasks and duties include but not limited to: Video Editing - Edit raw footage into high quality final video deliverables, including colour correction, sound design, pacing transitions and visual enhancement. - Produce a wide range of content such as promotional videos, ads, tutorials, explainers and brand storytelling assets. - Create platform optimised short form ideas for Social Media with correct formatting and engagement driven structure. - Edit full podcast episodes with synchronised audio/video, applying noise reduction, mixing, levelling, and multi camera editing techniques. - Develop highlights, teasers, trailers, intros/outros, and branded episodic elements to maximise content reach and retention. - Conduct quality assurance checks on exports, ensuring technical accuracy, platform compliance and brand consistency. Motion Graphics - Design motion graphics, animations, lower thirds, transitions and visual effects aligned with brand guidelines. - Build reusable motion templates and visual systems to streamline production workflows. - Design and prepare print labels, packaging artwork, and production-ready assets while assisting with packaging design development and brand consistency across physical products. - Maintain organized digital files and backups of all media assets. - Participate in creative ideation sessions and contribute to cross-functional and cross-departmental projects. - Ensure cohesive visual storytelling across integrated campaigns (digital, print, events, media.) - Organize and manage design files with proper version control. - Champion and uphold brand consistency across all visual touchpoints, all departments. - Create visually impactful static assets for social media, email campaigns,website, software, hardware and digital advertising and customer journey touch points. - Create visually impactful, consumer-facing product packaging assets, instructional manuals, help guides and more relative to engineering/product related tasks. - Develop infographics, iconography that simplify complex ideas. - Design motion graphics and animations for product demos, social media, and promotional content (as needed.) - Create staff education training materials (e.g. warehouse assembly.) - Produce a wide range of content such as promotional videos, ads, tutorials, explainers and brand storytelling assets. - Create platform optimised short form ideas for Social Media with correct formatting and engagement driven structure. - Conduct quality assurance checks on exports, ensuring technical accuracy, platform compliance and brand consistency. Position requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, multimedia production or video editing. - Minimum 3 years experience in digital content development and graphic design. - 3-year minimum experience editing with Premiere Pro. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to adhere to brand guidelines. - Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effect, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) - Demonstrated proficiency and application of design principles. - Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, composition, and layout for digital and print production. - Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment and apply a positive team approach to working with internal and external stakeholders. - Highly motivated, self-starter with a proactive mindset - Strong organizational skill and time-management skills. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines. - Proactive approach to problem-solving.
