The role blends fieldwork, technical drafting, problem-solving, and operational support. Position: Digital Measurement & Service Technician What You’ll Be Doing You’ll be responsible for capturing accurate field measurements and turning them into build-ready drawings and documentation that support smooth fabrication and installation. Your work will directly impact project quality, service efficiency, profitability, and customer experience. This role includes: - Completing in office measurements using advanced 3D laser measuring technology - Assessing site conditions and identifying installation risks before work begins - Producing accurate AutoCAD drawings and technical documentation - Supporting quoting, planning, and service execution with detailed field information - Collaborating with operations and installation teams to improve efficiency and reduce callbacks - Maintaining organized digital records, drawings, photos, and measurement files - Communicating professionally with customers, contractors, and builders on-site - Helping create better systems, processes, and standards as Champagne Glass & Door continues to grow What We’re Looking For - 2–5 years in construction, glazing, service, drafting, or a related industry - Experience taking field measurements - Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software - Strong spatial awareness and technical understanding - Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively - Practical problem-solving skills - Strong communication and documentation abilities - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record What Makes Someone Successful Here - Detail-oriented without overcomplicating things - Calm under pressure - Accountable and dependable - Technically curious - Solution-focused - Comfortable balancing fieldwork and computer-based work - Able to spot issues before they become expensive problems Why Join Champagne Glass & Door?
