The Accounting Manager will oversee the financial operations of IMT Elemental, playing a key role in financial planning, reporting, and analysis, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls. This individual will work closely with senior leadership to support decision‑making and drive the financial success of the facility. Location Port Robinson, ON Responsibilities Lead the month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, budgets and forecasts Maintain general ledger, including the reconciliation of accounts and journal entries Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditures Oversee inventory costing, job costing, and cost accounting Manage purchasing activities and contracts Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls and accounting policies Support both internal and external audits when necessary Requirements Knowledge and understanding of GAAP principles Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field Solid understanding of cost accounting and inventory control Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of external auditing processes and demonstrated successful responsibility managing this process Adept team builder and motivational leader with the ability to hire, assess and develop employees Proficient with ERP systems and Excel Why Join Us Defined Contribution Pension Plan Competitive wages Job Security (long standing and growing company) On‑the‑job training Employee Referral Program Social events and activities Years of Service Program We thank all applicants for submitting their resumes; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
