Generations Fitness & Aquatics Centre is hiring! An exciting opportunity to become a team member of our amazing 24 hour gym!! Generations is a community-focused fitness and wellness centre dedicated to providing high-quality programs that promote health, wellness, and inclusion. We are currently seeking a passionate and certified Aqua Fit Instructor to lead engaging, safe, and effective water-based fitness classes for a diverse group of participants. The Certified Aquafit instructor will be required to teach classes throughout the week, with both weekday and weekend availability preferred. Hours are part-time, with some flexibility to set your own schedule. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and lead Aqua Fit classes for a variety of fitness levels and age groups. - Provide clear instruction and demonstrate proper techniques to ensure participant safety. - Monitor class participants and respond to any issues or emergencies that may arise. - Set up and clean up any required equipment before and after classes. - Foster a welcoming and supportive environment for all participants. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of water fitness trends and safety practices. Qualifications: - Certification in Aqua Fitness (e.g., WaterART Fitness). - Current CPR/First Aid certification. - Previous experience leading group fitness or aqua fitness classes preferred. - Solid communication and interpersonal skills. - Reliable, enthusiastic, and passionate about health and fitness. We have a great group of members that attend and enjoy their daily classes.
