Truck Driver (Welland)

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The license required is AR or D with minimum of 3 years experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting product to various destinations in Niagara Region. As well as loading and unloading the products, stock, customer service and some yard maintenance. Candidates with skills in forklift operation is a bonus. We will require a letter of experience from your current employer's insurance company, stating the vehicle you are currently driving and the amount of time you have been driving the vehicle. Responsibilities - Safely operate commercial trucks to transport products to job sites - Load and unload products using forklifts as needed (Fork lift licensing will be provided) - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations - Maintain accurate delivery documentation - Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during transportation activities - Shipping and receiving of stock - Communicate effectively with staff, and customers - Yard maintenance - Potential computer use for orders Requirements - Valid AR or D driver’s license with a minimum of 3 year, clean driving record - Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields - Forklift operation is preferred - Robust organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate delivery of products - Physical ability to lift, load, and unload freight as required Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: - Dental care - Disability insurance - Extended health care - Life insurance - Vision care Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ogua1
