Prince of Wales and Inn on the Twenty is currently seeking a Pastry Cook 1 to join our growing team! This is a great opportunity that can provide flexibility, valuable work experience, and a chance to work with a tenured team. Job Title: Pastry Cook 1. Location: Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON and Jordan Station, ON. Property: Accepting applications for Prince of Wales (Niagara-on-the-Lake) and Inn on the Twenty (Jordan Station). This posting is for an existing vacancy within Lais Hotel Properties Limited.
Responsibilities
Responsible for preparing menu items specific to pastry based on the menu requirements daily
Assisting Team Members when required to meet the cooking requirements
Ensures the rotation of food stocks and performs inventory control function
Checks the kitchen function sheets daily to ensure that the food items are available and that special item menu requirements are attainable
Qualifications
2-3+ years culinary experience (with a focus on pastry) in a fine dining establishment preferred
Ability to work independently
Current Safe Food Handler’s Certificate
Reliable transportation to Niagara on the Lake
Ability to work weekdays, weekends&holidays
