Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and experienced Roll Off Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks to transport and dispose of waste or materials efficiently and safely. Duties Safely operate roll-off trucks to pick up, transport, and deliver containers to designated locations Load and unload waste or materials, often requiring heavy lifting and manual handling Conduct routine inspections of the truck and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and maintenance activities Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding schedules and service requirements Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations Assist with the cleaning and basic maintenance of the truck as needed Experience Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record Prior experience operating heavy trucks or similar equipment is preferred Demonstrated ability in heavy lifting and manual handling tasks Robust driving skills with knowledge of safe driving practices on various road conditions Familiarity with safety protocols related to waste management or transportation industries is a plus This role is vital for maintaining productive waste collection services, ensuring safety at all times, and supporting environmental sustainability efforts.
