As Game Tech Manager, you’ll lead a team of technicians to keep all arcade games, attractions, and VR experiences running at their best. You’ll oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs while driving preventative programs that minimize downtime and maximize performance.
In this role, you’ll manage schedules, inventory, and vendor partnerships, while analyzing game performance to identify trends and implement long‑term solutions. You’ll also collaborate with Operations to enhance the guest experience, ensuring every attraction is safe, fully functional, and ready for play.

Duties&Responsibilities
Lead, train, and develop a team of Game Technicians
Create schedules to ensure proper coverage across all operating hours
Coach team members on troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance
Oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of arcade machines, gaming systems, and VR equipment
Ensure all games and attractions are always fully operational and guest‑ready
Perform and enforce preventative maintenance programs
Assist with installation, setup, and calibration of new games and attractions
Minimize downtime and maximize game performance and revenue
Monitor attraction performance and identify trends or recurring issues
Maintain daily and weekly reporting on game functionality and repairs
Partner with Operations leadership to enhance layout, flow, and guest experience
Manage parts, tools, and supply inventory
Order and track necessary equipment and replacement parts
Identify common equipment issues and implement long‑term solutions
Maintain relationships with vendors and coordinate major repairs or upgrades
Ensure all safety protocols and guidelines are consistently followed
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces and equipment
Protect company assets including tools, keys, and equipment
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
Requirements
Strong passion for gaming, technology, and guest experience
3–5+ years of technical experience in arcade, amusement, or similar environment
Experience in the amusement industry as a Game Technician strongly preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Advanced troubleshooting and IT skills (mechanical, electrical, and basic IT systems) preferred
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license
