Job Developer (Welland)

Our client is a global not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving access to skills development, education, and employment opportunities. Through partnerships with governments, industry, and community organisations, they design and deliver impactful programs that help individuals overcome barriers and achieve long-term workforce participation. Our client is seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Job Developer to support clients in achieving sustainable employment outcomes through employer engagement, job placement, and ongoing retention support. What You’ll Do - Build and maintain relationships with employers to identify job opportunities and workforce needs - Match clients to suitable employment opportunities based on skills, goals, and readiness - Coordinate interviews, placements, and ongoing employer communication - Support clients and employers through onboarding and retention milestones - Collaborate with internal teams to align employment opportunities with client goals - Monitor labour market trends and identify emerging employment opportunities - Maintain accurate records, employer activity, and placement documentation in required systems Required Skills & Experience - Experience in employer engagement, recruitment, sales, staffing, or job placement services - Strong relationship-building and communication skills - Proven ability to secure employment outcomes and manage employer partnerships - Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment - Solid organizational skills and attention to detail - Experience supporting individuals facing employment barriers is considered an asset - Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle - Post-secondary education in business, career development, social services, or a related field This is a 10 month contract position with a strong possibility of moving to a permanent, full time after that time.
