We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Site Superintendent to join our growing team for a project already moving in Port Colbourne, Ontario. What You’ll Do As Site Superintendent, you will oversee all aspects of the construction project from contract award through completion. You’ll play a key leadership role coordinating trades, managing schedules, maintaining safety standards, and serving as the primary site contact for owners, consultants, and engineers. Key responsibilities include - Coordinating and overseeing all project activities on site - Managing civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes while ensuring trades remain on schedule - Acting as the primary site liaison with owners, consultants, and engineers - Collaborating closely with project managers and support staff - Maintaining a protected and compliant work environment - Reviewing blueprints, specifications, and construction documentation - Managing project schedules and planning tools - Overseeing commissioning documentation and equipment control logs - Preparing planning aids and supporting project execution strategies - Completing daily reports, logs, and project documentation What We’re Looking For: - 3–5+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure construction - Experience working with a General Contractor or Civil Contractor preferred - Strong understanding of heavy civil construction, concrete structures, and water/wastewater facilities - Experience with construction management and field supervision - Knowledge of construction scheduling and project planning tools - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications Preferred Certifications - First Aid Certification - WHMIS Certification - Working at Heights Certification What Makes You a Great Fit You are - Organized and highly detail-oriented - A strong communicator and natural leader - Skilled at problem-solving and decision-making - Self-motivated with a proactive attitude - Able to manage multiple priorities in a quick-paced environment - Committed to safety, teamwork, and project excellence Why Join KCL?
