What youll do: The purpose of this role is to use analytics and detection technology to prevent and contain fraud losses across the entire customer life cycle. As a Fraud Strategy Student, you will be part of a team where we: Use a wide range of payment, account, and behavioral data Develop and maintain fraud detection strategies within multiple detection platforms Sustain fraud detection rates and false positives in line with business goal Identify and respond to existing and emerging fraud trends Stay current on fraud technology and industry trends related to credit cards, mobile wallets, and other consumer payment solutions Liaise with and provide analytical support to Fraud Operations Provide analytical support on investigations as needed Collaborate with key business units What you bring: Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline Demonstrated superior analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills Programming experience (e.g. Python/SAS/R/SQL) Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Power Point etc.) Data visualization development using Tableau, or similar tooling, is an asset Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with the confidence and passion to share knowledge Highly organized individual with excellent attention to detail Solid foundation of relevant technical skills You have compassion for the customer and curiosity about how things work The ability to take a collaborative approach to build strong relationships and have positive team experiences Demonstrate behaviours of transparency, accountability, agility and learning from others that will support your success Were always looking for excellent talent!
