National Port Security Services Inc. (NPSS) is currently seeking a professional, reliable and motivated Regional Manager to oversee and support our Ontario operations. This position is ideal for an experienced security professional with strong leadership, operational management, scheduling and client relationship skills.The Regional Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operational and financial oversight of assigned sites while ensuring quality service delivery, compliance with company standards and strong employee and client relations. This role may also require performing Security Guard and Supervisory duties depending on operational requirements.Duties&Responsibilities
Ensure Security Guards and Supervisors perform duties in accordance with post orders, company policies and client expectations. Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with site duties, uniforms, appearance standards and personal protective equipment requirements. Counsel and discipline personnel as appropriate while documenting counseling sessions and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.Develop, review, assess and maintain post orders based on client and operational requirements. Assist with the training and orientation of security personnel regarding post orders and site procedures. Complete payroll input, reconciliation and submission of personnel information as required. Ensure adequate staffing coverage for all assigned sites in conjunction with company management.Create, maintain and adjust schedules in accordance with operational and business needs. Prepare, submit and maintain reports, operational documentation and financial analysis as required. Conduct regular site inspections and meetings with employees and supervisors to communicate expectations, tasks and responsibilities.Meet with clients regularly to ensure all security requirements are being met and to maintain a high level of customer service. Develop action plans and operational improvements based on client and company needs. Assist with interviewing, onboarding, training, coaching, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions and hiring recommendations in accordance with company policies and applicable legislation.Monitor and enforce employee code of conduct and workplace compliance standards. Maintain a positive and professional work environment while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures. Qualifications
Previous security management or supervisory experience preferred. Valid Ontario Security Guard License required. Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple sites and operational priorities. Experience with scheduling, payroll coordination and reporting considered an asset.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred. Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and on-call requirements as needed. What We Offer
