Wine Server (Port Colborne)

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server with wine knowledge to work in our wine tasting room. Server will be responsible for opening and closing the store. Offering wine knowledge on Niagara regional wine region, types of wine and pairing with food. Construct light meals for the guest to include dips and charcuterie, cheese boards.Requirements

Prior restaurant or food service experience preferred but not mandatory Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Knowledge of serving techniques, food handling, and Micros POS system is a plus Ability to handle cash accurately and perform cashiering duties Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a teamAbility to stand for extended periods and carry trays or dishes comfortably Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Must be at least 18 years old with proper food handling certifications if required by local regulations Perks
