Strategic Director for Community Programming, Niagara Regional Municipality (Fonthill)

Drive community engagement and deliver impactful programming with the Town of Pelham! This full-time role oversees key events, recreation planning, and collaborations in a diverse, hybrid work environment.

As the Associate Director of Strategic Initiatives, Programming, and Events, you will report directly to the Chief Administrative Officer. This leadership role requires strong operational oversight of programming across arts, culture, and park services, aligning with community needs through data-driven strategies. You will also manage budgets and ensure compliance with Town policies while fostering robust community partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:• Oversee sustainable program delivery aligned with community needs • Conduct planning and evaluations for events and cultural initiatives • Develop business cases and strategic reports for senior management • Monitor trends and implement best practices in recreation• Lead budgeting and financial management for departmental operations

Requirements:• University degree in relevant fields; Master's preferred • 7 years of municipal leadership experience • Proficiency in municipal programming and budgeting • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Experience in community engagement and project management
