Local Part Time Class 3 Driver (West Kelowna)

Company description High Caliber is an established local trucking company based in West Kelowna. We provide material hauling and delivery for both residential and commercial projects. Job description We are looking for a motivated and experienced truck driver with a Class 1 or Class 3 license for local work. The candidate will be responsible for the pick up of product and delivery to customer with a flat deck truck and Moffett and/or Dump Truck. Candidate must also oversee all functions and condition of vehicle and equipment, loading and unloading, pre-trip inspections and safety and security of cargo. The Candidate Must Possess the Following: - Minimum Class 3 License w/ air endorsement - Minimum 2 years heavy truck driving experience - Clean drivers abstract Additional requirements and assets: - Ensure safe transportation to the destination and respect delivery deadlines - Ability to work with minimal supervision - Forklift experience - Ability to perform daily maintenance on vehicles - Ability to complete paperwork effectively - Strong organizational skills - Excellent customer service skills - Working knowledge of transport Canada tie down and safety regulations - Ability to lift 50 Lbs. - Mechanical knowledge - Maintain vehicle in a clean, organized and safe state Part time Position To apply: Send your resume and driver's abstract to Job Types: Part time, Permanent Pay: From $27.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2nabrn
