Senior Graphic Designer (Whitby)

Position Overview We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to lead the development of creative assets across digital and print platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong visual storytelling skills with strategic thinking and can manage projects from concept through execution while maintaining brand consistency. The Senior Graphic Designer will collaborate closely with marketing, product, content, and leadership teams to create compelling visual communications that elevate our brand and engage our audience. Key Responsibilities Creative Direction & Design - Develop high-quality visual concepts, graphics, layouts, and marketing materials - Design assets for digital campaigns, websites, social media, presentations, email marketing, and print collateral - Translate business objectives into effective creative solutions - Ensure brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints - Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and leadership teams - Ensure all creative output aligns with company messaging and brand positioning Project Management - Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines - Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors when required - Prioritize workloads and adapt to changing business needs - Review and proof creative materials before final delivery Team Collaboration & Leadership - Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback - Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative strategy discussions - Support the creative team in maintaining high design standards Production & Technical Execution - Prepare final production files for print and digital distribution - Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices including AI - Ensure accuracy in typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field - 5+ years of professional graphic design experience - Strong portfolio showcasing branding, digital, and print work - Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) - Experience with AI software, Figma, Canva, or other design tools is an asset - Strong understanding of typography, color theory, composition, and layout principles - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills - Motion graphics or video editing experience - AI software - Experience working with marketing campaigns and social media content - Familiarity with web design principles and responsive design What We Offer - Competitive salary - Creative and collaborative work environment - Flexible work arrangements – Primarily work from home (Some onsite store visits/Office visits) - Access to the latest creative tools and technologies Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year Advantages: - Flexible schedule - On-site parking - Store discount - Work from home Work Location: Hybrid remote in Whitby, ON L1N 2C3 Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o46tg
