Event Coordination
Plan and coordinate multiple events at once, including children's birthday parties and craft classes. Engage clients of all ages (4‑94+) by creating an environment of fun and creativity. Demonstrate and instruct participants in craft projects, face painting, and other activities. Facilitate party add‑ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards.Communicate event details with clients and teammates. Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and paperwork. Adjust plans based on client feedback and needs. Create backup or emergency plans as required. Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events. Uphold cleanliness and safety standards; set up, break down, and clean before and after each event.Customer Experience
Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions. Provide fast and friendly checkout experience. Engage customers with the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them. Educate customers about the Voice of Customer survey. Assist with omni‑channel processes: BOPIS and SFS.Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes. Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance. Perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties. Support shrink and safety programs. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and company policies. Maintain respectful and positive interactions with all customers and coworkers.Cross‑trained in Custom Framing selling and production. Participate in daily store cleanliness activities such as sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom upkeep. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Energetic, enthusiastic personality. Ability to manage job stress and interact effectively with guests of all ages and coworkers. Excellent people skills. Experience working with children and children’s events. Strong communication skills – verbal, written, nonverbal, and listening. Organizational, interpersonal, and creative problem‑solving skills.Retail and/or customer service experience required. Physical Requirements
Ability to remain standing for long periods. Ability to move throughout the store. Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching. Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves with ladder or similar equipment. Requests for reasonable accommodation: contact supervisor for interactive process.Work Environment
Public retail store setting; climate‑controlled areas; outdoor tasks may involve retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks. Frame shop with glass cutter and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings. Applicants in Canada must satisfy federal, provincial, and local legal requirements of the job.Total Base Pay Range for this Position:
