Part-time Host (Whitby)

This position is for the summer! Duties: - Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the establishment - Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas - Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials - Take reservations or manage a waiting list during peak hours - Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries - Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth dining experience - Monitor dining room for seating availability, cleanliness, and ambiance - Assist in setting up and clearing tables as needed Experience: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong guest services and customer service orientation - Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred - Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus - Ability to handle high-pressure situations with calmness and professionalism As a host/host, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive first impression for our guests.
