Must be able to communicate in a team environment. We are seeking 1 dependable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained to support a clean and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. This role is vital in upholding the overall appearance and sanitation standards of our premises. Duties - Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment - Conduct commercial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal - Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment - Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management - Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and break areas - Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries - Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use Qualifications - Prior experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required - Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety procedures is a plus - Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Valuable physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or supplies - Reliable work ethic with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 30 per week Application question(s): - Must have a police check - Must have a drivers abstract Education: - Secondary School (preferred) Experience: - Janitorial: 3 years (required) Language: - English (required) Licence/Certification: - Class G Licence (required) Willingness to travel: - 100% (required) Work Location: On the road Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ozu5t
