Description
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling inquiries via phone, and CRM platform. Processing data accurately, promptly, and efficiently, as well as resolving issues; all by following defined procedures. Use analytical and critical thinking skills as well as exercising some independent judgment. The representative will work with all departments of the Company to ensure the customer is satisfied to the best of Makita’s ability.

What will you work on?
Accurately and efficiently process customer orders, credits, and returns.
Answering incoming customer calls regarding orders, pricing, billing, products, service, and general inquiries.
Ensuring all pricing is current and consistent with those established by Makita.
Ensure that promotional pricing is applied consistently and within company guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Communicate and coordinate with colleagues, as necessary.
Provide support to other departments as required.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
To be successful you will have:
Education in Business Administration considered an asset.
Previous experience with a CRM platform such as Zendesk an asset.
High school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of two (2) years of related experience in customer service.
Bilingual English and French written and oral.

Analytical skills: identify a problem or issue, gather information, develop a solution.
Critical thinking: analyze and evaluate facts to form a judgement.
Basic knowledge: power tools (can be learned on the job).
Able to operate office equipment such as computers, telephones, and facsimile machines.
