What We Need

Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Sous Chef plays a key leadership role in managing culinary teams and supporting Front of House artisans to ensure seamless service and a memorable guest experience. The incumbent oversees scheduling, assists in the smooth running of operations, and helps establish and maintain standards and procedures. They are also responsible for ordering supplies, monitoring and minimizing food costs, and contributing to recipe production and development, all while ensuring compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations.

A successful leader in this role demonstrates integrity, communicates with clarity and empathy, and fosters a culture of collaboration between kitchen and service teams. With energy, adaptability, and a positive mindset, they inspire confidence while remaining resilient under pressure. What You’ll Do

Management Activities

Oversee food preparation and cooking operations across multiple kitchens and restaurants, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and exceptional quality. Establish, implement, and enforce departmental and corporate policies, procedures, and standards. Identify and recommend methods to improve efficiency and optimize workflows.Conduct daily inspections of kitchen facilities to ensure full compliance with hygiene, sanitation, health, and safety regulations. Provide hands-on support to the team, particularly during peak service periods. Actively solicit and address guest feedback, resolving concerns promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.Assist with food preparation and service as required, leading by example on the line. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Leadership and Collaboration

Partner with the Executive Chef to set priorities, manage workloads, and develop work schedules that align with operational and financial goals. Support the recruitment, selection, training, development, and performance evaluation of staff. Supervise and motivate team members to foster a positive, professional, and growth-oriented work environment.Contribute to recipe development, menu planning, and plate presentation; provide training on new dishes and ongoing feedback to ensure consistency. Stay informed on emerging food and beverage trends and introduce innovative ideas to enhance the culinary offering. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and industry partners to support operational excellence.

Compensation

Annual compensation for the role is expected to be in the range of $50,000-$80,000 Free Thermal Experience * Health Insurance * Some conditions apply
