As a Recreation Therapist at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences, you will assess and implement customized recreation programs within the Forensic Rehabilitation Unit and other areas as needed. Your role is vital in contributing to patient care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Flexibility is key, as you will also cover the PICA within the unit.

Key Responsibilities:• Assess and develop therapeutic recreation programs • Implement group and individual recreation activities • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team • Maintain flexibility in scheduling as needed • Perform physical demands of the position

Requirements:• Degree or diploma in Therapeutic Recreation • Minimum of two years related experience • Member of Therapeutic Recreation Society (TRO) • Understanding of mental illness treatment practices • Valid driver’s license and CPR Level HCP certification
