Dishwasher (Whitby)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant workplace. Duties - Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently - Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and kitchen areas in compliance with health and safety standards - Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and setup - Support the kitchen staff by ensuring all necessary items are available for food service - Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and recycling - Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and stored properly - Adhere to food safety regulations and sanitation protocols at all times Experience - Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required - Familiarity with cleaning procedures and food handling practices is advantageous - Experience with food preparation, cooking, or serving roles can be beneficial for understanding kitchen operations - Ability to work efficiently in a team workplace while maintaining attention to detail - Strong work ethic with a focus on cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction This role is perfect for individuals interested in developing their skills within the hospitality industry while contributing to a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
