Warehouse Associate, Whitby Region (Gormley)

Drake International is currently hiring Warehouse Associates for a client in Ajax.

What we offer

Location: Ajax, ON (L1Z 0K4).

Tentative Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate:$18.00 per hour plus 4% vacation pay.

Schedule: Weekends Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (ongoing until further notice)

This is a temporary assignment

What you'll do

Assemble packaging by folding and taping boxes, labeling products, and preparing shipments

Accurately pick and pack orders using carts, bins, shelving, and racking systems

Stack completed boxes onto pallets or conveyor lines

Retrieve items from higher shelves using ladders safely

Verify products and orders for accuracy and expiry dates

Assist with inventory counts and stock checks

Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment

Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines

Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned

What we’re looking for

Previous warehouse or general labour experience is an asset

Ability to stand and work for extended periods

Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Able to lift 50lbs and comfortable ladders safely and working at heights

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

CSA-approved safety footwear required

Must be able to follow instructions and safety guidelines

Must pass a criminal background check.
