We’re looking for a Customer Service Representative, Property Claims to join our growing team! Responsibilities
Be a subject‑matter expert on property policies, products, services, and initiatives. Answer calls in a professional manner to take care of insureds. Answer inquiry and recent claims calls on an inbound queue while applying knowledge, problem‑solving skills and making decisions to move requests forward.Handle emergency situations in a courteous and respectful manner. Recommend business partners (emergency service/contractor) to clients. Accurately and clearly document files to reflect conversations and actions taken on claims. Ensure daily call‑center metrics are met while handling a high volume of inbound calls.Provide quality customer service, maintaining low hold times and documenting files concisely. Execute multiple tasks aligning with changing priorities and time‑sensitive deadlines. Perform ad‑hoc duties as required. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or appropriate insurance training/experience. At least 6 months experience in a call‑center environment. Insurance experience is an asset. Passionate about customer service. Self‑motivated, resourceful, resilient to overcome various situations. Superior organizational skills andagility to navigate an environment where you must think on your feet.Comfortable with technology and computer systems. Excellent communication skills in English. Flexible to work 35 hours a week during our business hours (Monday‑Friday 8am‑6pm) and statutory holidays.Eligible to work in Canada; no Canadian work experience required.
