Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Flatbed Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a solid understanding of vehicle operation, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to handle various roadside situations professionally. The position offers an opportunity to work in a agile environment with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Shifts Monday through Friday and every other weekend 7:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m. Duties Operate flatbed tow trucks to transport vehicles safely and efficiently across designated routes. Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls and recover vehicles from accident scenes or breakdowns. Conduct routine inspections of the tow truck to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance. Assist with vehicle recovery operations, including securing vehicles onto the flatbed and ensuring proper load balance. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining services, and addressing concerns professionally. Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, including mileage, time logs, and service details. Perform basic automotive repairs or mechanical troubleshooting when necessary, utilizing automotive repair knowledge. Operate forklifts or other equipment as needed for loading or unloading vehicles in certain situations. Qualifications Valid Ontario driver's licence (G or D) Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems and towing equipment. Prior experience in commercial driving, especially with flatbed tow trucks preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally. Knowledge of automotive repair techniques is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts or similar machinery is desirable but not mandatory. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with traffic laws. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks related to vehicle recovery operations.
