General/Skilled Labour, Whitby Region (Gormley)

Job Summary We are looking for safety-minded Laborers for various positions in a Manufacturing environment. We have long-term work available for the right candidates, We offer a consistent work schedule. The ideal candidates will be capable of working with minimal oversight but willing to follow directions closely.

Responsibilities and Duties In a variety of positions, applicants should have basic hand tool experience (grinding / sanding/ pallet strapping) valid lift truck license would be an asset, access to reliable transportation. Laborers with special skills, such as machine operators and sheet metal forming will be highly considered.

Qualifications and Skills Use of hand tools

Basic machine operation / assistance

Making Skids

Involves light lifting 40lbs

Follow the required safety policies and procedures

Deburring various aluminum/steel plates

Load&unload trucks

General cleaning

Other duties as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour

Experience:

Skilled Labor: 5 years (preferred)
