The Assessment and Abandoned Mines (AAM) Branch of EMR leads and directs the management and remediation of abandoned mines in the Yukon. Effectively delivering this service to the people of the Yukon requires commitment to the highest levels of professionalism. Our work is focused on environmental protection, health and safety, effective project delivery and sound financial planning. Our Project Managers are responsible for leading and delivering a variety of projects on remote abandoned mine sites where protection of receiving waters is of vital importance. We are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual who has proven experience in project management and the ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
