Tour Guide (Dawson City)

Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and engaging Tour Guides to lead visitors through our mine site and teaching gold-panning, providing an informative and memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for sharing knowledge, and the ability to connect with diverse audiences. Duties - Lead guided tours for groups of varying sizes, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants - Share detailed information about the site’s history, and how we placer mine - Answer questions from visitors, providing additional insights and personalized attention - Manage tour schedules efficiently to ensure timely departures and arrivals - Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times - Assist with visitor inquiries and provide excellent customer service throughout the tour experience - Educate visitors on safety protocols and ensure adherence during tours Requirements Class 4 drivers license or the ability to get one. - Solid public speaking and communication skills with the ability to captivate an audience - Experience in customer service, teaching, or guiding roles preferred - Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse visitor base - Excellent time management skills to coordinate tour schedules effectively - Leadership qualities with the ability to manage groups confidently and responsibly - Ability to convey information clearly and engagingly through effective storytelling and teaching techniques - Professional appearance and friendly demeanor essential for creating a welcoming environment - Prior experience in guiding, teaching, or public speaking is a plus but not mandatoryJoin our team as a Tour Guide to inspire curiosity, foster learning, and create unforgettable experiences for visitors from around the world!
