Employment Opportunity – Equipment Operator / Labourer Placer Gold Mine Operation – Near Whitehorse Dutch Canadian NW Goldmine Ltd. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Equipment Operator / Labourer with mechanical knowledge to join our placer mining operation near Whitehorse, Yukon for the upcoming mining season. Position Overview This is a hands-on position suited for someone who is comfortable operating equipment, performing general labour, and assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs in a remote mining environment. Responsibilities - Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently - General mine site labour and clean-up - Assist with maintenance and basic mechanical repairs - Conduct daily equipment inspections and greasing - Support wash plant and mining operations - Follow all site safety procedures and policies - Work effectively in a team environment Qualifications - Experience operating heavy equipment preferred - Mechanical aptitude or repair experience required - Ability to work long hours in outdoor conditions - Valid driver’s license required - Welding or fabrication experience considered an asset - Mining or remote camp experience considered an asset - Robust work ethic and dependable attendance Compensation - Starting wage, dependent on experience and qualifications - Additional gold production bonus opportunities available - Seasonal overtime opportunities - Camp accommodations provided Location Remote placer mining site near Whitehorse, Yukon.
