Heavy Equipment Operator, Whitehorse

About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our hardworking construction crew on remote, camp-based projects. This is your chance to operate a variety of machines on challenging and rewarding jobs, while working in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, rock trucks, water trucks and graders.

Load/unload materials, move earth and rock, and complete grading or excavation tasks according to project requirements.

Follow all site-specific safety protocols and contribute to a safe work culture.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications&Requirements

Proven experience operating heavy equipment in civil road construction setting.

Strong safety mindset and knowledge of job site hazard controls.

Physically fit and able to work in varying outdoor conditions.

Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (Class 1 or 3 considered an asset).
