Wage: $21.00 Hours of Work: Full-Time (35-40 hours per week) Location: Whitehorse, Yukon

Role Summary This is an entry level position for someone with career aspirations towards becoming an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentice. This position is a great starting point and introduction to the working environments and the maintenance industry.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting AME’s on aircraft maintenance when needed
Washing Aircraft
Towing Aircraft
Cleaning the hangar when required
Servicing maintenance vehicles
Aircraft servicing and support functions such as position equipment, hooking up heat carts, installing engine tents and contamination removal
Must haves
Required to maintain a valid Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC), valid driver's license and obtain your Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit
Be physically fit (able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively, able to stand/walk for extended periods of time, work in a pressurized environment)
A strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust that we have built with passengers, partners, and communities
Enthusiasm for contributing to our unique mission, whether that’s through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support
Must be a legally entitled to work in Canada
Nice to haves
Previous aviation/mechanical experience considered an asset
