Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Store Manager to lead our store operations, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer service. Responsibilities - Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to company policies - Lead, motivate, and supervise store staff to meet sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service - Manage recruiting, onboarding, training, and development of team members - Handle payroll processing, scheduling, and performance evaluations - Maintain effective merchandising strategies to optimize product presentation and inventory levels - Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, returns, and inventory management - Coordinate purchasing activities to ensure stock availability while controlling costs - Implement pricing strategies aligned with market trends and company objectives - Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies - Manage cash handling procedures accurately and securely - Develop marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing clientele - Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management - Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels Skills - Proven experience in retail management with strong leadership capabilities - Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in merchandising, POS systems, cash handling, and some bookkeeping tasks - Robust organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively - Expertise in sales management, pricing strategies, and marketing techniques - Ability to recruit, interview, train, and develop staff members efficiently - Competence in budgeting, payroll scheduling, and administrative tasks - Negotiation skills for vendor relations and purchasing negotiations - Leadership qualities with a focus on team management and training & development - Time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously - Customer service orientation with a professional demeanor and problem-solving skills This position offers an exciting chance for a motivated individual passionate about retail management.
