Maintenance Worker (Nakina)

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. You will need a valid G drivers license, and this job requires you to drive. The Maintenance Worker will perform routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks to support the smooth daily operations of our organization. Duties - Conduct regular inspections of buildings, machinery, and equipment to identify issues or potential hazards. - Collect local business garbage - Assist in the installation of current equipment or fixtures. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance storage areas and workspaces. - Collect minnows weekly - Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory. - Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations during maintenance activities. - Day to day operations, can be lawn care and snow shoveling in the winter Qualifications - Must have a valid "G" drivers license - Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and effectively. - Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks regularly. must be able to lift 50lbs - Excellent communication skills for coordinating with staff and documenting work performed. - Must be willing to live in a remote location Benefits: - Casual dress - Flexible schedule - On-site parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2oucf6
