Water and Waste Utilities Operator 2, Central Yukon (Dawson City)

Drive excellence in water service quality as an Operator 2, Utility Stations. Your role involves operating, repairing, and testing vital water treatment systems.

Join the Water&Waste Services team and utilize your 3 years of relevant operating experience. This position requires managing operational methodologies and troubleshooting equipment while ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory processes. You will also develop standard operating procedures and maintain treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities:• Operate and inspect collections and distribution systems • Calibrate and repair treatment facility equipment • Conduct thorough sampling and testing of water quality • Keep inventory and manage procurement of supplies • Uphold safety standards in all operating procedures

Requirements:• Minimum 3 years at a Class 1 facility • Level II certification in water and wastewater is required • Supervisory experience of at least 6 months • Familiarity with SCADA systems is beneficial • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is essential
