School Bus Driver and Trainer Role, Central Yukon (Dawson City)

Become part of Standard Bus Contracting as a School Bus Driver and Trainer, where you'll train new drivers and enhance the skills of existing ones. Your expertise will play a crucial role in promoting safe driving and compliance with protocols.

In this innovative role, you will lead training sessions Monday through Friday, while also being available to drive designated routes as needed. Your clear communication style and organizational skills will ensure that new trainees receive the best foundation in bus operation and safety.

Key Responsibilities:• Conduct classroom training sessions for new recruits • Offer education to current bus drivers for skill enhancement • Prepare relevant documentation and training reports • Ensure safety compliance with regulations and policies • Assist in incident investigations and maintain accuraterecords

Requirements:• Class 1 or 2 driver's license with air brake endorsement • At least three years of commercial driving experience • Clear 5-year commercial driver’s abstract • Background in school bus operations or transportation • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
