Pharmacy Manager (Windsor)

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensure excellent customer service, and lead a team of pharmacy staff. The ideal candidate will possess robust leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge of retail pharmacy management, and the ability to coordinate multiple functions within the store environment. This role requires a proactive approach to managing inventory, staff, and customer relations to promote a seamless pharmacy experience. Duties - Manage daily pharmacy operations, including staffing, inventory control, and customer service. - Lead, supervise, and develop pharmacy staff through training and performance evaluations. - Oversee purchasing, merchandising, and pricing strategies to optimize sales and profitability. - Ensure compliance with all federal and state pharmacy regulations and store policies. - Handle payroll, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks related to pharmacy management. - Utilize POS systems for transactions, inventory tracking, and reporting. - Coordinate marketing initiatives to promote pharmacy services and products. - Conduct hiring processes such as interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees. - Maintain excellent communication with staff and customers to foster a positive environment. - Implement sales management strategies to meet or exceed sales targets. - Monitor budget adherence and manage financial aspects of the pharmacy operations. Qualifications - Proven experience in retail management, preferably within a pharmacy or healthcare setting. - Supervising experience with team management skills essential for leading staff effectively. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service excellence. - Proficiency in POS systems, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and merchandising techniques. - Knowledge of pricing strategies, sales management, marketing, and budgeting principles. - Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer populations. - Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development is highly desirable. - Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster professional growth. - Strong math skills for handling cash handling, pricing calculations, and financial reporting.
