Host/Hostess (Windsor)

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable dining experience from the moment they arrive. In this vital role, you will manage reservations, greet guests with enthusiasm, and coordinate seating arrangements to ensure smooth flow and excellent guest relations. Your friendly demeanor and strong communication skills will set the tone for a vibrant, hospitable environment where every guest feels valued and cared for. Responsibilities - Warmly greet guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression - Manage reservation bookings and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS - Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times - Answer guest inquiries via phone with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times or menu options - Assist with guest seating, ensuring accessibility and comfort for all patrons - Collaborate with restaurant staff to communicate guest needs and special requests effectively - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station to support smooth operations Skills - Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred - Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest relations - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including professional phone etiquette - Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus - Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a rapid-paced environment - Previous hotel or guest services experience is advantageous - Knowledge of serving standards and hospitality best practices to enhance guest experiences Join our team and be part of an energetic environment where your warm personality helps create unforgettable moments for every guest!
