Customer Service Associate I, Windsor

Responsibilities

Assists customers with questions and recommendations. Manages sales transactions while working assigned cash register. Maintains security of cash and protects company assets. Keeps the store well-stocked and recovers merchandise. Receives merchandise and helps with unloading trucks and stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.Ensures a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders. Maintains cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment (highly preferred). Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents. Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height.Must meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting. Excellent customer service and relationship management skills. Strong organizational and communication skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. The starting pay for this position is $17.60 per hour.Location: Huron Church Rd., Windsor, Ontario N9C 3Z3. This is a part time position.
