Machine Tool Builder / Spindle Builder (Windsor)

Colonial Tool Group Inc., a trusted leader in broaching tools and precision spindles across North America, is looking for a Machine Builder/Spindle Builder to join our talented team. We offer a competitive hourly rate based on your experience. Key Responsibilities - Assemble spindles according to drawings, work orders and specifications. - Disassemble, clean, and inspect used or damaged spindle components. - Identify worn or defective parts and recommend repair solutions. - Balance and test completed spindle assemblies to ensure performance standards are met. - Use precision instruments, including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and indicators to achieve precise tolerances, up to .0001 - Ability to work independently, building and repairing a wide range of machine tools. Experience - 310S or 310T is an asset. - Experience working with tool set-up, spindles, multi-spindle heads and machine repair an asset. - Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical.
