Jr. Program Manager (Windsor)

JR. Program Manager Company Bio Southwestern Manufacturing Inc. operates in a competitive global market producing wide ranging metal-based assemblies and components across a variety of industry sectors including but not limited to Mining, Oil & Gas, Crane and Drag-line Components, Agricultural, Machine building, and Heavy Equipment Manufacturing. This role will be in our Nuclear Division Role Overview Program manager responsibilities include delivering every project on time within budget and scope. This role will be part of our Nuclear Division. Starting Wage at $25.00 Key Responsibilities - Coordinate internal resources for the flawless execution of projects - Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget - Develop project scopes and objectives, and ensuring technical feasibility - Ensure resource availability and allocation - Develop a detailed project plan to track progress - Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques - Report and escalate to upper management as needed - Manage the working relationship with the client - Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation - This role does require some travel, extra hours and some weekend work dependent on workload and customer needs Qualifications & Skills - Understands reading blueprints - Motivation and passionate personality in sales and marketing - Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills - Strong working knowledge of the current Microsoft Office suite - Desire to grow in your career Education & Experience - An educated background, preferably in the field of manufacturing - Program manager experience is required - PMP certification is asset but not required - Experience and knowledge with Program Management software/ Gantt charts is an asset/ preferred. - Working experience as a project administrator in the manufacturing sector is an asset Working Conditions - Shop environment with exposure to noise, sparks, grinding debris, and moving equipment. - Regular lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. - Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have an attention for detail to ensure tight deadlines are met Safety & Quality Expectations - Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety legislation and company safety procedures. - Follow all quality control processes and documentation requirements. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
