Job Overview I am seeking a dedicated, friendly, hard working individual to join me with my small business, The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of food preparation techniques, ensuring that each pizza is crafted to perfection. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for creating delicious pizzas while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen, as well as having a strong customer service presence, Responsibilities - Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. - Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food safety guidelines. - Manage the pizza assembly line, ensuring timely preparation and delivery of orders. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and equipment. - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. - Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredient levels and notifying management when supplies need replenishing. - Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a secure working setting. Skills - Proficient in food preparation techniques with experience in the food industry. - Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety standards. - Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced kitchen environment. - Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. - Familiarity with meal preparation processes specific to pizza cooking. - Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required. joining Nikki’s pizza, you will be working closely with the owner as it’s a small business, there will be travel involved as Nikki’s pizza is a food truck, and we go to events especially during the summer.
