Role Description

This is a full time hybrid role for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic based in Winnipeg, MB, with opportunities for some remote work. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Diamond Drills and support equipment . The role involves troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring all equipment is in excellent working condition. This position plays a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in equipment maintenance and vehicle maintenance
• Experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting mechanical systems
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation, systems, and diagnostics
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment
• Relevant certifications or training in mechanics and equipment repair
• some experience as a mechanic in a shop environment
• Effective problem solving skills and the ability to manage time efficiently

$25-60per hr depending on knowledge Red seal would be nice but not needed
