Description
Schedule Wednesday‑Saturday, 4:30PM – 3:00AM. Work is performed onsite five days a week, depending on role requirements. Responsibilities Direct and oversee an assigned department within the facility. Manage the operational performance results of the department. Support the Senior Operations Manager and/or General Manager in creating and implementing department operating plans and driving continuous improvement. Handle all aspects of talent management for salaried and hourly direct reports: hiring, training, performance management, coaching, engagement and rewards. Partner with Health and Safety, Asset Protection, and People & Culture to address employee concerns requiring escalation. Lead weekly and monthly labor and workforce planning for the department. Ensure appropriate supply levels at the right time. Maintain effective communication flow to supervisors and the department. Collaborate with support teams: Health and Safety, Asset Protection, People & Culture, Engineering, IT, Logistics, Network Strategy, Quality, Labor Planning. Lead large‑scope strategic initiatives and projects within the department. Approve termination decisions for hourly employees in partnership with People & Culture. Support health and safety, labor compliance, and employee engagement initiatives. Manage 3PL relationships if applicable. Provide insights to site leader for Annual Operation Planning (AOP). Verify and approve time‑keeping for hourly direct reports with DC Workforce Administrators. Deliver on DC budget targets for the department. Champion and lead lululemon’s IDEA initiatives and values. Qualifications 8–10 years of leadership experience in a distribution center or similar high‑growth setting. 5 years of direct people‑management experience with hourly employees. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or equivalent work experience. Experience using automation or material handling equipment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency with a Warehouse Management System and Labor Management System. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven experience leading and implementing process improvements. Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to handle multiple high‑priority tasks. Travel up to 1–3 times per year. Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
